What is ColecoVision ?
Coleco Industries released the ColecoVision home video game console in August 1982. It was a console of the 2nd generation, following the Intellivision and Atari 2600 but before the NES. It was initially promoted as a more expensive alternative to the Atari 2600 because of its superior sound and graphics capabilities.
The console has a 12-button keypad, an exclusive expandable module that lets it play Atari 2600 games, and uses ROM cartridges as its primary game storage.
